Fireplace Progress

I've got both of the mantles painted now!! I painted the hearth downstairs black to cover all of the old suet marks and make it look more finished. Upstairs in the bedroom I tried something different...I used chalkboard paint for the hearth and inside the fireplace. I thought it was a fun idea! :-)
