Fireplace Progress

I've got both of the mantles painted now!! I painted the hearth downstairs black to cover all of the old suet marks and make it look more finished. Upstairs in the bedroom I tried something different...I used chalkboard paint for the hearth and inside the fireplace. I thought it was a fun idea! :-)

My First Blog

Welcome to my first blog! We'll see how this goes. Things are progressing quite well with our living room and upstairs bedroom. We are getting closer and closer to being done. The flooring company is coming in on Monday!! I can't wait to have our house put back together.
